Inspired by the art pieces worn by their clientele, the design for this reception room employs the colors, textures, and materiality of luxury timepieces. Custom screens fabricated from mixed metals replicate the patterning of watch bands, which are both beautiful and offer privacy for consultations.

Echoing another style of band, custom desks are made from dyed alligator skin while the blue and red colors seen throughout the room are inspired by “Jewel bearings”; the tiny pieces of ruby or sapphire that sit within the watch movement to help reduce friction within the metal components.
A custom 6’ solid brass gear train anchors the space and is a stunning nod to the inner workings of fine watches.
Located in an area populated with red oak, the wood detailing of the showroom reflects the region. For those clients waiting for service, there is an artfully-composed black and white video detailing the components and repair processes of these luxury timepieces.
